I'll bet you, like me, have a favorite book, comic, or TV character you looked up to as a kid, huh? It's ok. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Much like master chefs teach aspiring cooks the way of food, those characters teach us the way to ourselves.

By using a storytelling format to guide readers across my blog, I seek to tackle the complex and alluring plots, characters, and worlds of tales we can all grow from.

Humanity wouldn't be where we are today without powerful stories: heroic mythological tales, pages upon pages of historic scriptures, and, yes, even those books at bedtime from childhood.

Here, I hope to illuminate how one can gain an incredible amount of insight and perspective from the fictional stories inspired by the real experiences of others.
