I am proud to present my first ever physical product design project: The Fruits and Veggies Tarot deck! This deck has been two years in the making from initial idea to concepts to completed card designs. Here, we have my 22 completed Major Arcana designs. The finished product I'm scheduling a KickStarter release for mid-February, 2026.

The Fruits and Veggies Tarot was born from an idea to make Tarot more approachable as a practice for those who are considering it, but feel intimidated by the more traditional deck designs already on the market. I went to our local farmers market every Saturday with my father as a kid, stocking up on fresh fruits and vegetables for the week to come, and loved sampling them—from the more familiar ones to the more obscure. Everyone either eats fruits and vegetables, so I thought them the perfect subject to translate to an approachable deck.

I especially had lots of fun conceptualizing each card, thinking to myself "If a pineapple were one of the major arcana, which would it be and why?" I also researched the more obscure fruits and veggies to help guide my conceptual process, making a list of their pictures, what they taste like, what they're known for, and what symbolic or cultural significance they have.
